Of Course Not won Battle of the Bands! I cannot begin to explain how stoked we are!!!! :)

Every minute is a minute away

Lots of things are going on right now!

This Friday we have a Battle of the Bands in Coffeyville. It'll be our debut as a full band. We've been working hard to change our songs from acoustic to rock. It's going to be great!

Right now we are in the middle of writing some new songs, and getting some stuff recorded for a demo.

We also have quite a few gigs lined up for this summer.

It's going to be a great summer. I can already tell. =)

Yep, that's right. I haven't changed my hair in awhile, so it's time to step it up. This time it's going to be crazy. And awesome. I am rather terrified about this. But it will be awesome. I hope. =/

Of Course Not placed 2nd last night in the Pitt State Talent Show. I am so happy about this! We played Dizzy, and despite crappy sound equipment, we somehow managed to come out on top as the best band! =) Woo!

I find it very strange how everyone is connected somehow, someway. Today I randomly met a kid in Joplin who was in a band I had seen play in Lawrence back in December and turns out he knows my brother. Lately this has been happening quite frequently and it's very interesting to me. It definitely blows my mind.

By George I figured it out

So I was baking cookies tonight. Chocolate chip cookies to be exact. And as I pulled them out of the oven I was surprised, yet not surprised, to find them flat and stupid looking. I thought, "What could I have done wrong this time?!" And then I realized what it was...The answer to my question that was in dire need of being answered... Flour. It needed more flour. Luckily, I still had most of the delicious cookie dough left to add in the substance that would make my cookies no longer stupid. Voila. Delicious, perfect looking cookies are awaiting me now in the kitchen.
